Harpal qualified from Bristol University in 1988 with prizes in both Conservative and Restorative Dentistry. Harpal trained at the Eastman Dental Institute and completed his specialist training at GKT and at St Georges in Tooting. He also gained his Californian state board exams during this time. Harpal is a part time Consultant in Restorative Dentistry based at Kingston hospital and St Georges in Tooting.

Harpal is also an international trainer and mentor for All-on-4 implant and Zygomatic implant surgery and works with NobelBiocare UK Ltd to promote this innovative approach for the immediate rehabilitation of patients and to avoid the need for advanced bone reconstruction.

Harpal has been involved in implant surgery for over 20 years and also trained under world renowned, PI Branemark who invented the zygomatic implant concept in the early 1990's.

Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial

Surgeon Graham Smith is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, salivary gland disease, surgical dermatology and head and neck oncology.

Graham’s NHS practice is at St George’s Hospital, London and Kingston Hospital NHS Trust.

Referral taken for Oral surgery, Wisdom Teeth, Maxillofacial and Dental Implant referrals welcome. A mentoring service is also provided in house for referring practitioners for joint care

His private practice is at the New Victoria Hospital, Kingston upon Thames, The Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon, St.Anthony’s Hospital, Cheam and Coombe Wing of Kingston Hospital. He is a trainer for Specialist Registrars, junior doctors and dentists, and medical and dental undergraduates in OMFS. He regularly attends and presents at national and international meetings and has taught surgery in Ethiopia, Iraq and Bangladesh.

Graham studied dentistry at Guy’s Hospital, London qualifying in 1991, followed by medicine in Bristol, qualifying in 1996. The final part of the Fellowship in Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England was attained with the Gold Medal in 1996.

He trained in general surgery and orthopaedics gaining the FRCS (Eng) in 1999. Higher surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery was on the South Coast Rotation, achieving FRCS OMFS in 2002.

Mr Smith was privileged to be Head and Neck Fellow to Professor Christopher O’Brien, at the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute in Australia in 2003. This provided excellent experience in the management of patients with head and neck malignancies, ablation and reconstructive techniques, and research.

Certificate of Completion of Specialty Training was attained in 2004 and Mr Smith was appointed Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the following societies :-

Periodontist

George qualified from the ‘Dental School, University of Athens’ in 2003. He continued his Postgraduate studies in the field of Periodontology at ‘Queen Mary, University of London’. He was awarded a ‘Masters Degree in Periodontology’ with Distinction in 2007 from the aforementioned institute. He also pursued a one year course in ‘Oral Implantology’ as part of his Masters degree. George is also certified in using soft tissue Lasers in his daily clinical practice.

Following completion of this training, he was offered a part-time ‘Clinical Tutor’ position at the ‘Queen Mary, University of London’ which he held for 2 years.

George has been working as a Periodontist since 2008 in the private sector and he is experienced in a variety of surgical cosmetic procedures including dental implants. He keeps up-to-date with the latest advances in the field of Dentistry by undertaking courses regularly.

George is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and his GDC number is 84699.

General Dentistry

Su qualified from the Dental School at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2000 with distinctions in the 4th year clinical test and 4th year prosthetic project. She received funding from the Dickinson Trust Award for her elective period which she spent at the Dental School at University College Los Angeles in 2000.

After qualifying, Su spent one year doing vocational training in Bournemouth before returning to London in 2001. She has been working in Teddington since then and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the community and caring for her patients.

Su keeps up to date with the latest in dentistry by regularly attending training courses lectures and study groups and is partway through becoming a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (MFGDP).

She is certified in fitting mandibular advancement appliances for people suffering with sleep apnoea and snoring and clench inhibitors for problems associated with grinding and clenching. Su is also certified to provide facial rejuvenation procedures such as botox and restylane fillers and thread lifting for non surgical facelifts, eyebrow lifts and smoothing of lines.

Su also provides orthodontic treatments including, Fastbraces®, clear aligners and Inman aligners.

Su has a reputation for being good with dentally phobic patients and her aim is for her patients to be dentally stable with emphasis on prevention and minimally invasive dentistry. She enjoys providing cosmetic work and believes in long term care and high quality dentistry so that people can be pain free and enjoy their teeth and smile.

Anna qualified from Leeds University in 1999 and was one of only a few students to be awarded with Honours. She was also awarded the Prize for Restorative dentistry in her final year, as well as achieving several distinctions.

Anna has worked in private dental practice since 2000 and has gained extensive experience in all areas of dentistry. Along with general dentistry, Anna‘s particular areas of interest are restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She has a very caring and gentle approach, with a strong belief in minimally invasive and preventative treatments. She has extensive experience in teeth whitening and composite bonding using the latest techniques to improve the appearance of your teeth whilst protecting and maintaining your existing tooth structure. She is a certified Invisalign provider.

Anna is committed to providing high-quality dental care in a relaxed, friendly environment. Minesh qualified from University of Newcastle in 1997, and has worked in general practice in London,Essex, and Surrey. He has worked along side Mr Chana for over 10 years before joining Elmfield House Dental Practice.

Since 2000 he has held Part-Time positions in Dental Units in Hospitals locally working along side Consultant’s in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. At St. George’s Hospital he was able to partake in studies of Tooth Wear and Cracked Teeth that have been Published.

As well as General Preventative Care, Minesh has an interest in Endodontics and Minimal Invasive Dentistry where his skills help to provide comprehensive care and manage difficult cases.

He is a certified Inman Aligner, C-Fast (short term orthodontics) dentist and also provides Anti-Snoring Devices.
He regularly provides Cosmetic treatments in the form of Tooth-Whitening and Bonding.

He has a commitment to Dental Education and keeps up-to date, attended courses, in the UK and Europe.
Minesh is Vice Chairman of Local Dental Committee. He also is part of a study club and has lectured to small groups of dentist in both hospital and general practice.

Minesh enjoys Cycling and Photography. Minesh grew up and schooled locally and lives in Surrey with his wife and son.

Specialist Prosthodontist

Harjot has been working part time at Elmfield House since 2017, and has been working as an in house specialist Prosthodontist since 2022. He has quickly become known for his friendly, calm and compassionate nature.

Harjot spent 4 years working and training at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London treating advanced full mouth reconstructions in fixed, removable and implant dentistry. He is experienced in treating advanced toothwear, fixed-removable reconstructions, management of the failing dentition and replacement of missing teeth with dentures, bridges and implants.

Harjot also provides Invisalign clear aligners to straighten teeth without the need for conventional braces.

Harjot is a lecturer for newly qualified dentists and teaches for the South West Deanery. He has presented at conferences both nationally and internationally and has published in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants.

Away from work he enjoys to spend time with his wife, going for long walks and travelling as much as possible. Harjot is a big Liverpool fan and a keen skier.

Specialist in Prosthodontics

Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow

Manish graduated from King’s College Dental Institute in 1999. He then furthered his training as a house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery and restorative dentistry. He has previously worked in general practice and gained his Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery in 2002. Following this, he commenced a four-year Specialist in

Prosthodontics programme at the Eastman Dental Institute (UCL).
In 2008 he received a Masters Degree in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with Distinction and the UCL Dental School Commemorative Prize in Prosthodontics for clinical and academic excellence. He completed the Membership in Restorative Dentistry examination by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009 and was entered into the Prosthodontic Specialist List.

Manish has continued to work at the Eastman Dental Institute as a part-time Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow involved in teaching post-graduate dentists on the various restorative dentistry training programmes.

Dentist with a Special Interest in Endodontics

Tom graduated from University of Bristol in 2015 with Merits in Restorative and Paediatric Dentistry and was the 2014 winner of the prestigious Frank Ashley undergraduate prize. Since then he has worked in hospitals and general practice, furthering his knowledge and refining his skills. In 2018, he completed an MSc with Merit in Primary Dental Care from the University of Kent. As part of this, he undertook modules in Endodontics, Periodontology and research.

Tom’s research on the importance of oral health and its interplay with whole-body health won him a prize from the British Society of Gerodontology. Tom developed a love of endodontics during his time spent working in the restorative department of Kingston Hospital. He is now studying for a Clinical Masters degree in Endodontology at the prestigious King’s College London. Outside of his studies, he operates as dentist with special interest in root canal treatment, dedicating himself to providing comfortable, safe and effective root canal treatment. In 2020, Tom was awarded the national GDP Prize for endodontics from the British Endodontic Society.

Tom is also qualified to provide intravenous sedation for anxious patients. He did his training with the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). He is passionate about helping patients access the care that they need through talking therapies and through safe sedation when required.

Vipul is a GDC-registered Specialist in Periodontics with wide experience in Medicine, Surgery, Implants & Sedation. He undertakes all aspects of periodontology, to include periodontal regeneration/resection, hard/soft tissue grafting around teeth/implants; in addition to implant placement/restoration and advanced anaesthesia using intravenous sedation.

He then worked as a Medical Doctor in London teaching hospitals gaining experience in General/Emergency Medicine, General/Emergency Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery. To widen his knowledge and skills base he completed Postgraduate Diploma’s in both Implant Dentistry and Conscious Sedation.

Vipul embarked on 3-years full-time Specialist Periodontal and Implant training at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, which culminated in successful completion of a Masters in Clinical Dentistry and a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from the European Federation of Periodontology. He awarded Memberships in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England & Edinburgh.

His academic research interests focus on periodontal and peri-implant diseases, their systemic manifestations at clinical/molecular levels and their effective management using novel techniques. He lectures locally and nationally on Medical Emergencies; and is on the interview panel for prospective medical school applicants at St Georges, University of London. He was a Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery at the Sheffield School of Clinical Dentistry and the Past Chair of the Early Careers Group of the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.

Hannah is a confident dental hygienist, therapist and Colgate ambassador with a passion for patient care. She qualified from King’s College Hospital in 2012 and has gained experience in a number of practices in the London area.
